Ashtyn Williams is a self-taught artist from Canada.

Her work and reverse eponymous jewelry brand, NYTHSA, are rooted in experimental design where her pieces are an offering of beauty in its most sculptural and wearable form. Through teaching herself the intricacies of beadwork, her process, both intuitive and intentional, has led her skills to transform into metal smithing. By combining fabrication and lost wax casting techniques, her medium primarily consists of sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones.

Ashtyn’s inspiration revolves around fashion to Art Deco to late 60s and early 70s Italian design, that converge her focus on the smallest of details worthy of the designer’s attention. Statement pieces with a sense of subtly captures her passion of effortless glamour. Using craftsmanship to adorn the body, Ashtyn creates jewelry that feels like an extension of the self to bring back sentimentality into the objects we own.
